What Imprint collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

What we collect

Waitlist entries can include your work email, chosen display name, referral information, submission time, and a browser session token. Design-partner applications include your work email and the team context you provide.

Our hosting systems also process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and access time.

If you are an approved private-beta tester, we also keep your approved email, the sign-in codes and sessions you use to reach the download page, and a record of each installer download, including the time, the installer, your IP address, and browser information.

Why we use it

We use application data to run the private-beta queue, show the public leaderboard details you choose, prevent abusive submissions, review design-partner requests, and contact applicants about access. Download records let us deliver Imprint to approved testers and notice when access is shared.

We do not sell applicant data.

Where it is processed

Service providers support website hosting, database storage, security, aggregate analytics, and internal application notifications. They process information only as needed to provide those services.

Some providers may process information outside Switzerland or the EEA, including in the United States. Where required, Imprint relies on the safeguards made available by those providers.

How long we keep it

Waitlist information is kept while the private-beta program is active, until you withdraw, or until you ask us to delete it. Design-partner applications are normally removed within 12 months after the last meaningful contact unless an ongoing relationship or legal obligation requires longer retention.

Private-beta access and download records are kept while the private-beta program is active, or until you ask us to delete them. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, and sign-ins after 30 days.

Browser session cookies expire after 180 days. Infrastructure logs and backups follow the relevant provider settings and contracts.

Your choices and rights

You may ask whether we hold information about you and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable. You may also withdraw from beta communications.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can complain to the Swiss FDPIC or, where EU law applies, your local supervisory authority.
